RESERVATIONS - - - I AM FOR IT !

I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I completely support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this. Let's start the reservation with our cricket team. We should have
10 percent reservation for muslims backward. 30 percent for OBC, SC/ST like that. Cricket rules should be modified accordingly. The boundary circle should be reduced for an SC/ST player. The four hit by an OBC player should be considered as a six and a six hit by a OBC player should be counted as 8 runs. An OBC player scoring 60 runs should be declared as a century. We should influence ICC and make rules so that the pace bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar should not bowl fast balls to our OBC player. Bowlers should bowl maximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour to an OBC player. Any delivery above this speed should be made illegal.

Also we should have reservation in Olympics. In the 100 meters race, an OBC player should be given a gold medal if he runs 80 meters. There can be reservation in Government jobs also. Let's recruit SC/ST and OBC pilots for aircrafts which are carrying the ministers and
politicians (that can really help the country.. )

Ensure that only SC/ST and OBC doctors do the operations for the ministers and other politicians. (Another way of saving the country..) Let's be creative and think of ways and means to guide INDIA forward... Lets show the world that INDIA is a GREAT country. Let's be proud of being an INDIAN..

May the good breed of politicians like ARJUN SINGH long live...
So, what do you think, huh???

Rang De Basanti!

Rang De Basanti is perhaps the latest "in" thing...because of what?? it's music...the acting ...the story...the direction or what?many of the people have stepped out of the halls with swollen eyes.they talk about the movie a day or two...appreciate the message conveyed...but what after that??i too really appreciate the rally conducted to mark the death of democracy...to mourn Jessica's death (damn..i also wanted to take part if it wasn't for my stupid boards!)if ever we talk to our parents about our present system (of governance)...a perpetual reply comes..."humare desh kaa kuch nahi ho sakta " so everytime my feelins were suppressed...thinking perhaps i'm acting to immature...after watching the movie, i thought that maybe people do realize that something can be done.now what my mum says is "dekh liyaa naa unka kya hoa...mar gayee" but i say...what about the fear they must have created in the minds of those hundreds corrupt leaders? what about their great contribution in waking the people of their country...vo maree nahin ...vo kurban hoe hain!according to me ...we are nothing better off than what we were 100 years back. (we refers to not just you and me...but the entire population). yes, industrialization, privatisation, liberalisation and developments of all sorts have taken place...but what about the vast multitudes of people who still live in vilages...this number probably matches the population of our country prior to independence.so, i ask, what is the difference, the same number of people still remain downtrodden without basic necessaties of food n clothing...according to me, there are a few major problems which have led to such a situation,(1) over population(2) illiteracy(3) corruption(4) politics(5) lack of awareness(6) an attitude of indifferenceand i feel all of them are interrelated lets begin, politicians are corrupt and selfish and want to create communal vote banks in their favour. due to this, the cannot adopt a "2-child policy"-this would raise a hue n cry among the muslim population-and then ofcourse ..who would vote for them.this leads to overpopulation.due to this ever growing population (just like the ever growing municipality sewage)...the people can not educate their children. coz ofcourse...who would like to educate their children when there are 10-15 mouths to feed and a minimal source of income.why illiteracy? coz of peoples indifference towards it...lack of awareness of what all benefits being literate can bestow upon them.there mayb 20% people who do not want to work...ie in any social/economic group there mayb 20% people who suffer due to their own faults...but what about the other 80%?????????????i know we are too young to understand the gravity of all these things...and people may just say that its easier said than done.... i agree it isn't so easy...but does that mean we don't do anything about it?many of us would be finding maths or sst or smth elase very difficult...but does that mean we don't study it..or does that mean that we put in all the more effort in to it...through all this i do not want to say that we can cimply form a group and go and kill someone...neither can we at this stage enter into politics and sacrifice our other goals for life...but there are so many sections of society whom we can help even at this age..the aged, the disabled, the poor...can we not spare a visit to an old age home or an orphanage once in 2 months?? or are we too busy? can we not go to some small village each in small groups (nearby delhi)to crate awareness about not giving birth to too many children and instead givin proper education to the 1-2 born. is this impossible?? i dont think so...and if you think we can not do anything at all because it's very dificult to change the system...then here's what i have to say..."koi country perfect nahi hoti...humen banaani hoti hai...hum kyon kuch nahi kar sakte...military , police mein bharti ho...IAS yaa IPS join karo aur vahaan se system ko badlo" i know it was a llllloooooonnnnnggggg post...but this is a topic very close to my heart...please do post in wuteva you feel about it...anyone who strongly feels for it please tell me...coz i am definitely going to do something about it in the coming session.criticism invited!
